A former printing house, the building that now houses Up Hotel Budapest awaits Hungarian and international guests with a reimagined restaurant concept this spring. Károly Lajos Posner, the owner of the printing house, was a pioneer in the graphics and paper processing industry in the 19th century, and the bistro named after him commemorates this heritage with its renewed image. The menu is dominated by Hungarian flavors, but we also placed great emphasis on the implementation of international gastronomy trends and kitchen technology methods. Thanks to the light dishes, the atmosphere of the bistro, and the modern environment, Posner provides not only a place for guests to relax, but also a favorite meeting spot for downtown Budapest residents.

The bistro bar is a place for light snacks and casual chats. The wide selection of local and international drinks includes the best champagnes, rums, whiskeys, and premium Hungarian spirits. The menu also includes delicacies such as the first domestic gin, Opera, James Bond’s favorite champagne, Bollinger’s, and the world-class, award-winning fruit spirits of the Márton and Daughters manufactory, considered masters of palinka making.
